This is the website of SCRAN. SCRAN is a collection of 160,000 images, video and sound clips, virtual reality objects, teaching resource packs and more, selected from some 300 museums, libraries and archives. Subjects covered a wide range of disciplines including biology, life science, ecology, natural history, etc. Non-subscribers can search the whole resource base for free and see free thumbnail images and a basic caption. Access to full records, captions, large images movies and learning resources needs subscription.
